As a kingofsleeper, here is the places for me.
you know why?

because the night time at here, is earlier 1 hour than West malaysia.

Example, today 6pm, KK here already looks like West Malaysia's 7pm already.

So, thats means i am getting to sleep earlier one hour, and wake up at the same time. ( coz at the morning, no matter how bright outside, i am still sleeping)

Safe House Premiere Screening at e@Curve 2012-02-08

First of all, courtesy to Nuffnang for giving me a chance to watch Safe House earlier than anyone else at e@Curve (formerly known as Cineleisure)

I want to tell u guys, i think that Denzel Washington is damn cool in this movie, i know denzel from the movie man on fire (2004), he is good in coolest killing style. You guys should check it out this movie.

Synopsis;

One of the CIA's most wanted, Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), is back on the run after a ten-year disappearance. This alerts the CIA and sends their team to a gripping chase in Cape Town, South Africa. At a remote location, the CIA's safe house is guarded by a rookie operative, Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds). The house have been empty for years, involving no guests or action. At the arrival of Frost and the intelligence, a brutal investigation occurs. Phased by the presence of a notorious criminal, Weston becomes nervous and confused. In the midst of questioning, mercenaries invade the house and begins a killing spree in an effort to kidnap Frost as well. Frost reminds Weston, that as a house guest, he is to be protected. This sends Weston to a dizzying panic and eventually escapes along with Frost.

Denzel Washington is an actor full of intensity. He can sit there and watch Reynolds do his thing and still convey the deepest of his character's emotions. He gives Frost both a terrifying presence and a sympathetic feel. Ryan Reynolds, on the other hand, manages to stand along Washington and give the same intensity. His wits and charisma works perfectly for his distressed rookie persona. The film succeeds best because of this tandem, allowing the actors to build a good enough relationship to carry out the entire film.

"Safe House" is a great action thriller with non-stop action. This is the first mainstream feature for Daniel Espinosa and he comes forth as promising due to his skillful camera work with the action scenes. One of the most impressive is the rooftop chase at night. The editing is pitch perfect as it allows the audience to feel the danger of the situation from each point of view. This film could have been bleak and predictable if the leads were miscast but Washington and Reynolds' enigma make the film satisfyingly fun and fresh.

Hello guys, i just back from Chronicle Premiere Screening at E@Curve

1st of all, lets have a simple review on the movie synopsis 1st;

I think Chronicle is just cool, worth to watch. Dunno why i feel this movie filming style is similar with the District 9.

In the earth stage of movie, Andrew bought a new video camera, and he filming everything. After he, steve and matt gain the super power, they start keep testing their power and of coz, the filming still going on.

I feel so sad for steve death, and andrew misuse of the superpower. Otherwise, they 3 got potential to be new Superhero on earth huh.. haha .. lolx.

Conclusion, this movie is super worth to watch, especially whose like to watch District 9.

Start from today onwards, my body was officially "sold-out", i need to work day and night.

Seriously, start early morning, my brain need to spin2, arrange2, prepare2, drive2, meet2, install2, solve2, sign2, mail2...etc.

From 14.12.2011, i need to say goodbye to my current life style. Which means i can't enjoy puer tea, can't back hostel on time ( 8pm), i need to check email every night ( they like to send main instruction on night), i need to double check mail every morning ( they like to do amendment on early morning).

Wish everything will be fine.

Me and Sin Hooi are booked by one sweet couple one week ago. (i will like to apologize to TV 11 and NTV XX that i cancel the MTV award interview, sorry, i got to do that for my good fren lionhui and tigerTan)

That morning, i wake up early as usual, do some reading stuff (read a novel), walk here-walk there, fetch sin hooi, washed my car and have my breakfast, bla bla bla~~

After everything done, checked.

We finally arrived at Winner Height Condo on time, around 1pm something.
I make a call to Stephen Tiger, he said "i gonna drive my car out, coz i am gotta back early"

The YTL Concert of Celebration 2011 with Julio Iglesias was launched and end successfully on Yesterday Night.

Julio Iglesias voice is amazing, listening to his singing is my best experience of a lifetime.

Thank You YTL Corp! for bringing us such a nice memory night on 2011-12-01 ! Thank you!

The original Latin lover will be in town on Thursday to serenade city folks in a free concert at colourful Bintang Walk, held to mark the relaunch of the popular Starhill Gallery there.

Organiser YTL's group managing director Tan Sri Francis Yeoh says the Concert Of Celebration, starting at 8pm, casts light on the new architectural facade of the Gallery as well as its many luxury fashion brands.

Today we decided to visit 静思书轩
Our last visit was 16th october already

It is nice, enjoy reading session there. At 静思书轩, u k relaxing your mind,
do your reading, chatting (in minimum sound)
I choose to continue read the book "the lost symbol"
The book rhythm is fast, pack and full of surprise. It is full of symbolic history content, really earn my attention for this book, cant wait to finish it ASAP.

Turkey is "no stranger to having these seismic events," but Sunday's quake is considered major, CNN Meteorologist Reynolds Wolf reported.

Report: Earthquake Rocks Thailand

Omg, Thailand got earthquake?

According to Google source

A 7.0 Earthquake has just hit near Thailand but reports are that no extreme damage has been caused.

An agency that monitors earthquakes has just reported that a 7.0 quake has hit Myanmar which borders Thailand. The quake was INLAND and the point of origin was deep below the Earth’s surface so the damage will be minimal. I just figured with the recent Japan Earthquake / Tsunami, when people here EARTHQUAKE they are immediately going to think the worst. Sources are saying that the quake was felt as far as Bangkok, where the buildings were actually swaying.

There has been no reports from Myanmar as far as the damage goes. Hopefully the damage from this Thailand earthquake is very minimal and nobody was injured. As more news develops we will be sure to fill you all in. Once again, a 7.0 earthquake has hit Myanmar, which borders Laos and Thailand.

i just go up to the Matrade roof top, for working purpose.

and i found that here was pretty good maintenance( as a government building)

The staff, security and management are excellent, they looks working and serious for their role. Everytime i see any government servant serious and discipline for the their responsibility, i feel happy and proud for them.

A quake-stricken nuclear plant in Japan has been hit by a third explosion in four days, amid fears of a meltdown.

The blast occurred at reactor 2 at the Fukushima Daiichi plant, which engineers had been trying to stabilise after two other reactors exploded.

One minister has said it is "highly likely" that the rods might melt. Radiation levels near the plant have risen.

The crisis was sparked by a 9.0-magnitude quake and tsunami on Friday.

Thousands of people are believed to have died, and millions are spending a fourth night without water, food, electricity or gas. More than 500,000 people have been left homeless.

Staff evacuation

There is no word on the cause of Tuesday's explosion, but initial indications suggest it is not on the same scale as the previous ones.

Staff working at reactor 2 have been evacuated.

On Monday, a hydrogen blast at the Fukushima Daiichi's reactor 3 injured 11 people and destroyed the building surrounding it. That explosion was felt 40km (25 miles) away and sent a huge column of smoke into the air.

It followed a blast at reactor 1 on Saturday.

All explosions have been preceded by cooling system breakdowns - although the Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) said the blasts had not penetrated the thick containment walls shielding the reactor cores.

Engineers battled into the early hours of Tuesday to try to keep water levels up in order to cool the fuel rods at reactor 2, but on two occasions the rods have been fully exposed.

Long exposure can damage the rods and raise the risk of a meltdown.

the pandas are so cute, too bad, Malaysia weather and economy not afford to get a pair back. haha, nvm, we still can check on the Panda photo thru internet. lolx~~

TOKYO (AP): Japan is rolling out a red carpet ahead of the arrival of much-awaited special guests from China: a pair of giant pandas.

The two 5-year-old pandas are due to arrive at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo on Monday. They'll be the zoo's first since the 2008 death of its beloved giant panda Ling Ling.

The Ueno area was filled with panda themes Sunday. Streets were decorated with banners carrying panda cartoons, and shops were selling novelty goods.

TEMERLOH: Barisan Nasional's Kerdau assemblyman Datuk Zaharuddin Abu Kassim has died of heart attack after collapsing at his house Saturday.

He was rushed to the hospital here and was pronounced dead at 7.15pm.

With the death, the Election Commission will have to call for the 16th by-election since the March 2008 general election.

Zaharuddin, who remarried early last month, has been hospitalised for unstable blood pressure.

He was treated at Sultan Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh for two weeks.

The assemblyman’s poor health had prompted Pahang Umno to appoint Kuala Krau MP Datuk Ismail Mohamed Said as coordinator for Kerdau.

In May, Zaharuddin, 63, was warded for two months in the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur for a stroke after an operation for ulcers in the intestine.

US President Barack Obama Thursday warned Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak had failed to lay out credible, concrete and irreversible change and said Cairo must spell out a clear path to democracy.

Obama issued a strongly-worded statement after a day of drama in Cairo in which hopes that Mubarak would step down were dashed, and replaced by fury as he only went as far as ceding some authority to Vice President Omar Suleiman.

“The Egyptian people have been told that there was a transition of authority, but it is not yet clear that this transition is immediate, meaningful or sufficient,” Obama said.

“Too many Egyptians remain unconvinced that the government is serious about a genuine transition to democracy, and it is the responsibility of the government to speak clearly to the Egyptian people and the world.

“The Egyptian government must put forward a credible, concrete and unequivocal path toward genuine democracy, and they have not yet seized that opportunity.”

Mubarak’s refusal to end his 30-year rule sparked fury among a huge crowd in the central Tahrir Square and sparked fears of a day of violence on Friday in Cairo.

PETALING JAYA: Valentine’s Day is a secular observance that is not celebrated religiously by churches in Malaysia or worldwide, said the Council of Churches of Malaysia.

ts general secretary Reverend Dr Herman Shastri said the National Fatwa Council had erred when it referred to Valentine’s Day as a Christian observance and has hurt the feelings of Christians in Malaysia.

“To suggest that Valentine’s Day is observed by Christians is unfair and misleading.

“Although the word ‘Valentine’ draws some connection to St Valentine, the church’s authorities have not endorsed the connection, be it Roman Catholic or Protestant,” he said in a statement in reference to an article on Valentine's Day posted on the website of the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim).

The website described Valentine's Day as: “The practice of celebrating the day of love (Valentine’s Day) has not been recommended by Islam. (The) spirit (of the) festival has elements of Christianity and the practice is mixed with immoral acts (and) are prohibited by Islam that clearly contradicts the belief, Sharia and Islamic morality. Therefore, Muslims are prohibited from engaging in celebrating the day.”

Dr Shastri said the council appealed to the authorities to repeal such hurting inferences that Christianity promotes sexual promiscuity because of Valentine’s Day observance, often made in the media and in the said Fatwa.

On Wednesday, PAS Youth chief Nasrudin Hasan Tantawi was quoted as saying that the Kedah, Kelantan and Selangor governments had directed all local authorities to work closely with police and Rela in order to carry out operations to check immoral activities during Valentine’s Day.

On Thursday, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Jamil Khir Baharom said the National Fatwa Council had, in 2005, decreed that Muslims should refrain from celebrating Valentine’s Day, as it was not part of Islamic practices.

He added the Jakim would launch an anti-Valentine’s Day campaign on Friday.

Well-known motivator Siti Nor Bahyah Mahamood had also commented on Valentine's Day saying "immoral activities, partying and unmarried couples associating in private are traditions of the Christian community".

40,000 evacuated to relief centres as floods hit five states

JOHOR BARU: Floodwaters have cut off communications in several towns in Johor, Negri Sembilan, Malacca, Pahang and Sabah while nearly 40,000 people were evacuated to relief centres.

So far three people were killed – two were swept away by strong currents while one fell into a pool. Another person is missing.

Thousands of commuters going back to their hometowns for the Chinese New Year holidays were disrupted by floods on trunk roads and a section of the North-South Expressway.

KTM Berhad was forced to cancel several intercity train services in Negri Sembilan and Johor.

Rohani Ismail, 51, was killed when the car she was driving was swept away by floodwaters from an oil palm plantation in Cha’ah, Johor at about 7pm.

Aw Yoke Lin, 53, from Taman Pelangi was killed when her four-wheel drive vehicle was swept into a river at Kampung Rahmat, Kulaijaya.

Some 1,426 people from 342 families have been evacuated from their homes in Kulai and have taken refuge at 11 relief centres.

“For the time being, there are sufficient supplies of food, medical aid and shelter for affected residents,” said Kulai MP Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting, adding the situation there was under control.

In Malacca, rescuers recovered the body of security guard Yusry Mohd Yusof, 40, after he fell into a water treatment plant pool at 10am in Kampung Chinchin, Jasin.

In Sabah, farmer Meriting Andi, 52, went missing as he waded a swollen Sungai Samparita in Kota Marudu to rescue his stranded children on the other side of the river bank.

The Prime Minister is expected to visit the flood-prone areas in Johor today.

A total of 29,294 people were evacuated in Johor and were housed in 200 relief centres as at 4pm yesterday, in a repeat of major floods which occurred in 2006.

Segamat has become an “island” after it was cut off by floodwaters. Police said no one can get in or out of Segamat as the roads to Muar, Johor Baru and Kuala Lumpur are under water.

A Ledang flood operations centre spokesman said four roads – Jalan Sialang-Tangkak, Jalan Gementah-Segamat, Jalan Simpang Bekoh and a stretch of the North-South Expressway near Km173 are only accessible to heavy vehicles.

Flash floods were also reported in Lahad Datu, Beluran and certain areas of Pitas, while many rural roads including those in plantations have been cut off by floods, making it difficult for vegetable farmers to send their produce to the main towns.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Spain striker Fernando Torres from Liverpool in a deal reported to be worth a British record £50 million.

Torres has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract that puts his earnings on a par with the highest paid players at Stamford Bridge - such as captain John Terry and Frank Lampard.

His £50 million transfer dwarfs the £32.5 million that Manchester City paid for Robinho in the summer of 2008. In fact, only Kaka (£56 million, Milan to Real Madrid, 2009), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (£56.5 million, Inter to Barcelona, 2009) and Cristiano Ronaldo (£80 million, Manchester United to Real Madrid, 2009) have cost more than Torres in the history of the game.

Torres joined Liverpool following a £20 million move from Atletico Madrid in 2007 and set a new record for the most prolific foreign goalscorer ever in a debut season in England, beatingRuud van Nistelrooy's 23 goals for Manchester United.

The 26-year-old scored 65 goals during his three year stay at Anfield and although he helped Liverpool finish second in the Premier League in the 2008-09 season, the club missed out on qualification for the Champions League last term and Torres leaves having failed to win a trophy.

That is something he will be hoping to put right at Stamford Bridge as the reigning Premier League champions look to defend their title and go one better than Chelsea's Champions League final appearance in 2008.

Speaking at Stamford Bridge after finalising the move, Torres, who was also pictured with a Chelsea shirt, said: "I am very happy with my transfer to Chelsea and I am looking forward very much to helping my new team-mates this season and for many years to come. Having played against Chelsea many times since coming to England, and in some very big games I will never forget, I know there are many great players here and I will work hard to win a place in the team. I hope I can score some important goals for the supporters to enjoy this season."

"This is a very significant day for Chelsea, capturing one of the best players in the world with his peak years ahead of him," Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck said. "We have long admired the talents of a player who is a proven goalscorer in English football and Fernando's arrival is a sign of our continuing high ambitious.
